Paws in Paradise has an immediate opening for a Front Desk Coordinator at our doggie daycare, boarding, and spa located in Downers Grove. We are looking for a dog lover who is enthusiastic, organized, provides great customer service, and has multitasking capabilities. As the Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our furry guests and their family. Upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! As the *Front Desk Coordinator* you are responsible to work with all customers and team members to ensure our customers and their dogs experience the highest standards, satisfaction and customer experience. The front desk Coordinator may be asked to fill in any roles in the facility as needed.

*Clean and Safe Environment* -to ensure our furry friends are always in a safe and clean environment we take pride in working as a team to ensure all work is completed!

* Maintain and update cleaning schedule, along with holding themselves and team accountable to the safety and cleaning standards.
* Inventory management.
* Works closely with customers regarding dog’s behavior issues and monitors action plans to retain those with minor issues.

*Customer Service & Presentation*

* Maintains a neat and organized front desk and greeting space at all times.
* Answering Phones, emails and questions from Pet Parents
* Strive for high customer service satisfaction!
* Data Entry and keeping files up to date
* Scheduling of guest stays
* Billing and payment management
* Greeting EVERYONE that walks in or out!
* Understanding the services that we provide to our furry guests and offering those services to guests.

As the *Front Desk Coordinator* you are responsible to work with all customers and team members to ensure our customer experience sets the highest standards and satisfaction of our customers. This may also require filling in for various roles when needed, to ensure the facility is properly staffed.

*Qualifications: *

* Must love dogs
* Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing
* Ability to work flexible days and hours, including holidays and weekends
* Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast paced environment
* Strong customer service skills,
* Ability to make/take phone calls while still assisting lobby
* Control and management of *daycare dogs*
* Ensuring the safety of the playgroup

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

* High school or equivalent (Preferred)
