*SUMMARY*

Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Director, this position will bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of data is used to then process, design, and implement systems across the agency

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides quality assurance of data and utilizes data in making necessary reports as to the productivity and compliance of all staff programs. Provides an analysis of these reports to Quality Assurance Director or designee for further action planning as needed.

Communicates data-driven insights to allow for supervisors to make more informed decisions in relation to all areas of the agency.

Assists in developing reports needed for process or systems including data sources, metadata, data sets, etc. and provide analysis of all reports.

Creates systems for use of data in processes throughout the agency and utilizes a theoretical framework for improvement through testing changes (such as Plan Do Study Act) and maintains the system for quantifying how changes are made and the impact of those changes.

Responsible for troubleshooting errors in reports, databases, etc. to best evaluate data structures, reports, and systems.

Assist in the development and implementation of any plans of correction based on audits, site visits, certifications, or other reviews.

Assists in training all staff on new reports, dashboards, inputting systems, etc. that provide or feed into data to be utilized.

Responsible for managing large data sets and relational databases for multiple projects and maintaining a priority of timelines in accomplishing projects needed or as directed.

Keeps abreast of any funding source standards, new regulations, rules, laws, rule changes, and notifies all needed parties/staff. Maintains an up to date knowledge base of all standards and billing practices.

Assists in communicating agency needs especially in areas of data collection and reporting with electronic medical records system acting as a liaison with electronic medical records system to ensure the system is utilized within agency processes optimally.

Utilizes data to focus on trends, probability, data visualization, predictive analytics, and risk management to equip decisions made throughout the agency.

Supports and promotes a service environment for individual in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of individuals who may have experienced trauma in their lives. Attends annual core competencies training in relationship to individuals with co-occurring disorders or who have experienced trauma in their lives.

Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with supervisor and peers, and develops integrated service provisions with other programs. Promotes a positive culture that engages staff in learning opportunities.

Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with other agencies.

Performs other related duties, as assigned.

*QUALIFICATIONS *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. *EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, statistics, data analytics, or other related field; OR

Bachelor’s degree in a mental health related field and one (1) year experience with audits, standards, program oversight, etc.

*CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS*

Required to complete Therapeutic Options, or approved training and annual updates.

May be required to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications.

Must possess valid Oklahoma license, meet HOPE insurance requirements, and provide motor vehicle record to the human resources office.

*LANGUAGE SKILLS*

Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents such as simple instructions, standards and criteria, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, correspondence and, clinical writing/documentation in medical records chart. Ability to speak effectively with other agencies and employees. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to families, clients, and other employees of the organization, and community partners.

*REASONING ABILITY*

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to seek out supervisory assistance for additional training when needed and make application of techniques or other skills to meet essential job duties and responsibilities. Ability to operate computer software to collect and summarize data on persons served.

*OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES*

Ability to perform data entry and generate reports from menu driven system. Ability to relate to persons with severe mental illness in a positive, helpful, and constructive manner. Ability to establish and maintain effective tactful and positive working relationships with co-workers; to express ideas and facts clearly and concisely in written or oral form. Must have problem solving skills as a leader to address issues and act in a preventative manner.
