We're seeking a remote Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to join our company and help to identify and recruit for our growing team of software engineers, sales and operational staff. The role will start off as a 6-month contract position with the possibility of full-time employment at the end of contract. Reporting to the CFO, you will be a valuable member of our team working closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business operations and help them to achieve their hiring goals.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
* Partners with hiring managers to understand role specifications and identify staffing needs.
* Manage and lead employer branding initiatives to attract and retain the best talent available.
* Ensure and provide feedback that the Company is properly positioning itself to attract the best talent, making sure our message and value are on point for candidates.
* Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks) for various roles including engineering, sales and operations.
* Plan interview and selection procedures, including behavioral phone interviews, assessments and in-person interviews.
* Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details during the recruiting cycle.
* Complete employee onboarding process including background checks and completion of new hire paperwork.
* Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
* Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
* Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual hiring needs by department with full reports/metrics to the CEO/CFO.
* Foster long-term relationships with candidates as well as hiring managers.
* Participate in and/or lead other projects and programs as required.

* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a relevant field.
* Minimum of 2+ years working as a TalentAcquisition Specialist, preferably in a technology company environment.
* Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
* Ability to prioritize and work with a high sense of urgency to meet target dates.
* Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage various stakeholders.
* A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.
* Ability to remain adaptable according to business needs.
