We are looking for a permanent, fulltime Marine Engineer to join our Advisory Services division in Adelaide, South Australia. We are looking for someone to start in this position ASAP.


In our Advisory Services division, everything starts with a problem that needs a solution. We act as an independent, technical partner for customers looking to procure defined services and develop specific capabilities. We help them diagnose, rationalise and solve intractable problems by providing analysis, advice and assurance, enabling our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performance.


As Marine Engineer, Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Engineering support of marine projects and equipment in Adelaide
  • Review of contractor deliverables
  • Participation in technical reviews within survivability
  • Development of requirements, design documents, test procedures and test reports
  • Assistance with training and knowledge sharing amongst colleagues and stakeholders, including mentoring and skills development of others


To be successful in the role of Marine Engineer, you will need to bring with you:

  • Experience in technical governance within Defence
  • Ability to coordinate, manage and report on technical activities
  • Highly developed verbal, written and computer communication skills
  • A flexible, agile and adaptable approach to work
  • Experience in researching, developing and assuring engineering requirements


Candidates will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
