Learning Inspiration Village, also known as Liv Childcare is a private created to nurture and focus on social and emotional learning. At Liv we incorporate diversity while inspired by Montessori and Waldorf school mission, learning through play. We are are technology free program with backgrounds in behavior therapy at which we support all our children with various developmental delays. Our preschool doors are open to all as we set an integrative setting allowing our children to progress through modeled behavior while learning. All activities and lesson plans are strategically prepped with modifications and substitutions to meet each child's needs at their learning level.

Our program has been approved for 28 children with two classrooms, and a gated outdoor playground/patio. We are located in a lovely supportive community, walking distance to many families, Forest Hills Queens NY.

Lead Teachers, are role models of creativity, imagination, loving and nurturing behavior that reflect our mission to make a difference in the lives of children, their families, and communities. Our passionate teachers use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.

Role Responsibilities:
* Lead, model behaviors and provide feedback.

* Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

* Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning

* Working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.

* Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.

* Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.

* Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.

* Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Qualifications: 2 or more *year of professional teaching experience for children under 6 years old.*
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related degree.

* State Certification

* CPR and First Aide certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
