Global PA orders in the Energy transition applications

Key Job Functions:
Create a level of excitement and a solid engagement around the Energy Transition business opportunities for the Process Automation.
Ownership of the business to help win and drive top and bottom line performance with the PA Regional Operations. As you progress, your aim is to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and focal point for all matters pertaining to the New Energy sectors.
Generate regional greenfield sales leads using intelligence tools and support conversion to orders with the regional Sales team.
Support the creation of new offers and new solution that target the energy transition applications.
Serve as a beacon with global market insights and regional dynamics to support adjustments to strategies. Keep regional leadership up to date with periodic condensed summaries on the Energy Transition.
Collaborate across Schneider Electric’s with businesses and project teams focusing on the Energy Transition
Participate in formation of the Process Automation Strategy addressing the New Energies.
Keep abreast of established players and new start-ups in this sector and define engagement strategies and means for value creation.
Engage with Licensors or end-user leaders and executives to develop relationships, understand their business and formulate business solutions to create value.
Work with the regional PA leadership to create local Sales strategy based on market dynamics in the new applications and drive growth.
Work with sales pursuit teams to develop a winning strategy and create client value in the targeted energy transition applications.
Work with the Strategic Account Managers to contribute to account plans where they have opportunities in the New Energies business.
Personally engage on key sales pursuits to support the team to win.
Contribute to crafting project solutions that differentiates us and include offerings from other BUs like AVEVA and Power systems.
Support the introduction of Process Automation and SE new offers.
Incorporate Service offerings into projects that provide client value and drive our strategy to grow our Services business.
Participate with the SE Chemical Segment as part of their extended team to drive broader sales in the PA and other BUs (cross-selling).
Work with Strategic Account Managers to develop their account strategies and support them on key Petrochemical pursuits.
Challenge the Sales team and Delivery to identify success stories and testimonies. Create Sales collateral from these with Marketing.
Participate in the client “Innovation days” and venues to drive awareness and the Energy transition business opportunities.
Evaluate which regional external marketing events to participate to maximize client influence and our strategy while staying. Present or drive others to present at marketing events to increase awareness of SE.
Successful candidate would develop their expertise in the PA/Software offering for the New Energies.
Provide quarterly management updates on the strategy and business.
Give Voice of Customer feedback to R&D, product portfolio and Delivery.
Travel globally (Post COVID) as necessary to support the development of Process Automation Business in the New Energies.
B.S. Engineering degree with 8+ years process control or process license experience. Master of Business Administration is a plus
Understanding of basic process design and industry knowledge
Project delivery or EPC experience
Some experience with senior executive and customer c level.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute an aggressive achievable strategy
Demonstrated ability to influence others through interpersonal skills and experience
Ability to travel primarily globally as needed
