What you’ll do

The Merchandise Portfolio Team thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and working to address their needs which supports TJX strategic initiatives and growth. On this tightly knit and fast-paced solution delivery team you will be constantly challenged stretch your skillsets, challenge status quo and drive decisions. Our goal is to align the IT delivery with business strategy. We seek a motivated, talented, experienced Product Manager to help guide the lifecycle of these capabilities for the Planning and Allocation solutions. You will work in a fast-paced environment which will challenge you to think creatively and exhibit an agile mindset.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Working with global business stakeholders to ensure that IT investments are aligned to business strategy.
Work with business stakeholders, architecture and engineering to perform and coordinate analysis on cross functional business initiatives in order to identify potential solutions and break those solutions into epics.
Coordinate large cross functional epics through the Portfolio Kanban which includes:
Definition of the epics and/or investment themes, identifying MVP, writing the hypothesis statement and lean business case
Work with teams to perform spikes and POC’s
Coordinate epic activities with other departments within the organization
Coordinate across ARTs and facilitate implementation
Ensure that implemented epics provide the desired business value
Business governance for the Merchandise Planning & Allocation Portfolio and communication efforts globally and divisionally.
Driving divisional and solution roadmaps
Maintaining a prioritized portfolio Kanban backlog, including the prioritization of epics with all global business partners
In addition, you will be assigned to an operating division focusing on understanding and articulating the division’s business strategy and the IT efforts supporting that division.

All the solution delivery work will be done within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Qualifications (Must Haves)

8+ years of IT experience
Strong agile leadership and methodology experience (Portfolio – SAFe preferred)
Experience with, or strong understanding of Lean Portfolio Management including portfolio responsibilities; management of the portfolio Kanban, intake, prioritization, analysis of cross functional epics
Familiarity with the retail industry, products, & best practices
Evidence of building strong collaborative relationships with business customers, product managers, architecture and solution delivery partners
Ability to think strategically
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Qualifications (Preferred)

Experience working with a diverse set of cross functional business partners that spans a complex set of business processes and applications
Experience with, or strong understanding of, of Product Management, including primary responsibilities: product lifecycle management, backlog management / prioritization, business case development, and cost/benefit analysis.
Understanding of Epic/Feature refinement, story point estimation process
